A few years ago, our team spent time walking through a series of exercises that helped us formulate and distill down in a few words what our Core Focus is here at Stonegate Financial. This Core Focus is essentially the mission we carry out every day for our clients, and that is to Enrich Lives by Stewarding the Use of Valuable Resources.
I want to take just a few minutes to dissect this statement a bit, and why it resonates with our team, and hopefully with our clients as well!

In doing so, we hope to be stewards of our clients' valuable resources. When you hear the word "resources" from a financial advisor, you probably think "money". And that’s a great resource and certainly a big part of what I'm talking about, but we also feel resources include other valuable things like time! This is one of our most precious commodities - how you spend your time, who you spend it with, and what you fill your time with. We love freeing up time for our clients so they can reinvest that time in other ways!
Not only is time a limited resource, so is our energy! Everything is a choice, and pouring energy into financial stress and decision making without the support of a financial planning professional limits how much energy is left to go around to all the other things that need our focus. We enjoy helping clients shift their focus away from financial concerns to the things they value the most.
