Your personal planning website compiles all your information in one dashboard that is capable of updating in real time and gives you a snapshot of your net worth and progression toward goals. Linking your 401(k) allows us to review holdings at a moment’s notice, and the account balance will update automatically so you won’t need to manually update data or provide current balances to us prior to each meeting.

Q. What types of accounts should I link to my personal planning website?
A. Any financial account that has online access (username and password) can be linked. This would include bank accounts, investment accounts such as your 401(k) or 529 plan, mortgages, loans, insurance, or health savings accounts.
Q. What information is available once I link my accounts?
A. The Stonegate Financial Planning Portal takes a snapshot each night to update the balances and holdings associated with each linked account. While for some accounts you may be able to see individual transactions, that data is NOT visible to us as your advisors. Also, there is no way for anyone to move money or make changes to the linked accounts via the site.
